Arkansas Capital is a statewide organization committed to developing Arkansas and supporting entrepreneurial initiatives. One way to do this is to offer business plan competitions. The Governor’s Cup is a highly competitive collegiate competition that results in some amazing prize monies. The Youth Entrepreneurship Showcase or YES is for 5th to 8th grade students in schools all across Arkansas. Students initially compete online. Winners are invited to showcase their businesses in Little Rock. At our 2018 e3: Empowering Entrepreneurship Education conference, Marie Bruno provided tips to help students with the financials section of their business plans.
