Today’s students look for engaging summer opportunities to help them discover what they want to do when they ‘adult’ or to build their college applications. They toured the local startup scene on the Fayetteville Square and worked with mentors to create their lean canvas. This Talk Business and Politics article describes the end result. Hear these student founders pitch their company, Indescribable Cupcakes. These guys plan to change the community by hiring special needs students who have a high unemployment rate. Their company would be a social enterprise since they are solving a social problem. And you should see and taste their very creative cupcakes. This would make a great example to share with aspiring student entrepreneurs!
