This survey, designed to coincide with the United Nations General Assembly meeting this week, just appeared in my inbox.  I know several of you are studying social enterprise and encouraging your students to analyze their communities in order to create entrepreneurial projects that serve community needs.  Participation in this survey could be a good first step that will allow them to add their voices to those of a much larger constituency.  After selection of your goal the website pulls up success stories that show progress on this particular goal.  The students may select from zero hunger; good health and well-being; access to affordable and clean energy; and decent work and economic growth.  The goal selections link back to the Rockefeller Foundations Solvable podcasts and videos showcasing innovations that make a difference to communities around the globe.  They range from food insecurity, malnutrition, maternal health, cancer, mental health, gender inequality, tropical diseases, vaccines, kindergarten readiness to financial self-sufficiency for women and more.  They are presented by scientists, activists, royalty, problem solvers and celebrities such as Bill Gates.  The list of short videos has grown sufficiently from inception.  Many diverse voices and problems are continuously added to the library.  Your students may just find an idea to benefit their local community!
