As a native Arkansan of significant number of years, I have found so much to appreciate in our state that I want to share with teachers and their students. This two hour professional development will introduce you to tons of interesting information about the five regions of the state. Ready made presentations coupled with activities created by my university students will provide you with great fun and education for your students regardless of the subject area. They are all Arkansans and knowing more about the state can compliment any topic. You’ll find lots of options to integrate and have fun!
Activities include Mapping Arkansas, Arkansas A to Z, Made in Arkansas, Ghostly Arkansas, Jeopardy and much more! Take regional tours. Assign fun research projects.
